Here’s one of my personal favorites. TRAYS! I find them very versatile and useful. I love using them to group items on a vanity or desk etc. and off course for its intent as a serving tray.
For this DIY-Picture Frame Tray, I have taken a picture frame and repurposed it as a decorative tray.
See the video for this DIY here:
Here’s what you’ll need:
- 1-8×10 Picture Frame
- 2- Handles With Screws (Drawer pulls that screw in from the top)
- Decorative paper/flowers
- 1-Can Spray Paint
- 1-Sheet sandpaper (If your surface is glossy-lightly sand before you paint)
Step 1: Remove the Glass etc. from inside the frame.
Step 2- Make the holes for the handles on both sides of the frame- Use a marker to mark the spots (these marks will get covered up with the paint) then use the screwdriver to create the holes.
Step 3: Protect your surface, spray the frame ( flip the back out, cover with paper) Set aside to dry (should be under an hour)
*Please read and follow all of the instructions at the back of the can of spray.
Step 4: Screw in the handles.
Step 5: Have fun! Play around with paper and any other decorative items to place in the frame.
Thank you. Hope you enjoyed! Please comment/share/try.
